Don't get mad - get everything!
Janelle Timmin's knows a thing or two about baby mix-ups, considering her own biological daughter, Anne Baxter, was swapped at birth for Bree, who's been bought up as one of the rowdy clan. This week, another blunder involving revelation that Janelle's son, Dylan - not his brother, Stingray - is the father of Sky Mangel's baby, Kerry. And in true Janelle style, she soon finds someone to blame!
"Karl made a really bad call when he misjudged how long Sky had been pregnant during the ultrasound," reveals Nell Feeney, who plays Janelle. "That led Sky to believe Stingray was the dad - a misconception which caused a great deal of heartache for the Timmin's family. Janelle holds Karl responsible, and vows to sue him for everything he's got."
Ironically, her snooty mother-in-law, Loris, makes a startling confession to Harold.
"Loris and Harold have been getting quite friendly of late, and Loris confesses that she was the one who swapped Anne for Bree all those years ago!" shares Nell. "Of course, she doesn't let Janelle know what she did. All hell would break loose."
So while the brood looks set to be rocked by further trauma, Nell claims that she loves the prospect of her alter ego being at war with Karl - though not every resident of Ramsay Street agrees with her actions...
"People accuse Janelle of being a bitch, but I don't agree,” argues the actress. "She's simply protecting her sons, and the fact of the matter is, Karl did get it wrong. I also find it all a bit hypocritical, because when Sky later has a go at Karl and calls him a bad doctor, she gets away with it. But when Janelle does it, people call her a cow!"
