Stingray Slips Away
While watching his happy family, Stingray closes his eyes for the last time

Have a box of tissues ready! One of Ramsay Street's favourite young residents, Scott "Stingray" Timmins, passes away in a heartbreaking episode of Neighbours. Stingray (Ben Nicholas) recently gave Kerry - the leukaemia-stricken baby daughter of his girlfriend, Sky (Stephanie McIntosh) - a new chance at life by donating his bone marrow to her. However, the procedure went unexpectedly wrong on the operating table! As a result of the complications, Stingray dies suddenly during a surprise birthday party for his mum, Janelle (Nell Feeney). "This is incredibly sad," says Damien Bodie, who plays Stingray's older brother, Dylan. "But it's very dramatic. Dylan won't be able to cope, and he'll take his grief out on anyone he can. His world crumbles."
