THE youngest member of the Neighbours neighbourhood is about the hit the road.
Cute as a button Claudine Henningsen will crawl out of Ramsay St on Friday after more than nine months on the show.
Claudine, who is 9 1/2 months old, plays baby Kerry on the soap, daughter of Ramsay St resident Sky Mangle, played by Stephanie McIntosh.
McIntosh leaves the show on Friday and as her character departs, so must Claudine.
Neighbours is not the only show Claudine has a connection with.
Her father is Warren Henningsen, who appeared in Channel 7's island romance reality series Temptation Island in 2002.
Apart from playing doting dad behind the scenes when Claudine is on the Neighbours set, Henningsen has left show business in his wake and is working as the marketing manager at The Point restaurant in Albert Park.
Claudine joined Neighbours when she was just days old.
"They were looking for a baby who was young enough to play a newborn," Henningsen said.
"Claudine was two weeks premature and she started on the show just seven days after she was born. She is the most convincing actor I have ever seen."
Henningsen said the soap's crew has been like a second family to Claudine.
"They have really looked after her. It is a sad thing to be leaving the show, but this has been such a great experience we would consider putting her into another show," he said.
