Neighbours in London!
Karl and Susan arrive in the UK for a romantic getaway - but little do they realise Izzy Hoyland is waiting for them...
Neighbours welcomes a special guest star this week- London town! But the city's not the only familliar sight as Karl Kennedy and Susan Kinski enjoy a well -earned break to toast their rekindled romance. On top of running into a host of celebrities, the popular pair are about to come face to face with Izzy Hoyland - The minx who was at the heart of their marriage break-up in 2004!.
"We were absolutley thrilled when the producers told us we would be going to London - usually we only make it as far as Ramsay Street or the Lassiter's backlot" smiles Jackie Woodburne who plays Susan. And we were even more excited to learn that Natalie Bassingthwaighte [Izzy] would be coming back. We knew filming would be fun, and it was-hard work, but fun!"
Things aren't so jolly on screen, however with the trip going wrong from the word go. "Karl and Suan's intention is to see some of the sights and visit their son, Mal, who now lives in Britain with his wife Catherine," explains Jackie. Unfortunately, there's a mix-up, and they miss seeing them. Susan's notion of checking into a quaint little hotel is also dashed when Karl books them into a seedy backackers' hostel."
Will Susan's mood improve when Karl's plan to ask her to marry him again is revealed? Maybe - if he ever manages it! "Yes, Karl's preparing to propose but he ends up losing the ring over the side of a bus!" Jackie laughs. "Luckily, a celebrity comes to his rescue- the first of many!"
The episodes feature cameos by a number of UK stars, but one recognisable face is likely to give the pair nightmares-Izzy. "It takes some time for them to cross paths," teases Jackie. "All I can say is that Izzy's up to her neck in scandal-typical!"
The UK storyline will play out over three weeks on our screens, which means we'll have to wait a little while for the burning question: Is unsuspecting Karl the father of Izzy's unborn child? "Susan only found out about the pregnancy moments before Izzy left Ramsay Street," sighs Jackie. "At the time Izzy assured her the baby isn't Karl's- but we'll soon find out, once and for all..."

Julian Clary
"I actually wrote to him a fan letter five or six years ago, so I wondered, Will he remember me?," recalls the actress. He did, and it was wonderful to finally meet him. For someone who presents a character which is very out there , he is absolutley charming."
Michael Parkinson
"He's a British icon. He bumbled along on the day, and was very charming," shares Jackie. "It was such a buzz for us to meet him."
Emma Bunton
"How cool is that? Baby Spice!" she grins. "She was really sweet, and very excited about being in the show."
