* Gail Robinson (Fiona Corke) will be returning and will be "in-and-out" of Ramsay Street. Her guest stints will involve the characters Paul (Stefan Dennis), Rachel (Caitlin Stacey), Elle (Pippa Black) and Susan (Jackie Woodburne). It is said that her storylines for this year will be fairly milder than they were last year.
* When Glenn (Cleopatra Coleman) returns once again for her "true-love", Boyd (Kyal Marsh), the two get together and decide to take a tour around Australia to re-enlight their love for each other.
* When Frazer (Ben Lawson) makes it clear to Rosetta (Natalie Saleeba) that he is not in love with her, and in love with someone else, another resident of Ramsay St, Rosetta starts meeting a new man. But Frazer falls back in love with her later on throughout the year and the two get together.
* Pepper (Nicky Whelan) starts counselling to get over her shock when she was taken hostage by Mary Casey (Rowena Wallace). After finally recovering from the trauma, Pepper manages to take on normal life once again, but Mary returns later in the year and tries to kill her again. Does she succeed or not?
* Rachel starts drugs after making friends with a mysterious character. Her whole life turns upside down, and after breaking up with her boyfriend Ringo, and losing her contact with Zeke (Matthew Werkmeister) and Susan, she realises that she is pregnant. But is the father Ringo, or a boy that she slept with a few weeks before?
* Teresa (Hannah Greenwood) returns to kidnap Sky's (Stephanie McIntosh) baby once again. Carmella (Natalie Blair) and Sky are held hostage by Teresa when she returns to kidnap Kerry.
* Janelle (Nell Feeney) and Bree (Sinoa Smit-McPhee) leave during this year, and there are rumours that the departure of these two involves the Baxters. There are also rumours that it doesn't. And there are also rumours that the two are only going away for a family vacation and will be returning to Ramsay St early next year.
* After losing the "love of her life", Lolly (Adelaide Kane) leaves Ramsay St to live her life once again with her father, John Allen. There are rumours that she will be returning next year for a short stint where she leaves with Lou (Tom Oliver) to go to Russia and live with Mischka (Deborah Kennedy).
* After rescuing Kerry from Teresa, Sky leaves Ramsay St, scared for her baby's safety.
* A new family move into the old Timmin/Scully place.
* Rachel and Zeke start a war against Karl when Susan goes off to see a few relatives. Karl eventualyl gets sick of the two and disowns them. A week later, Susan returns and is distressed when she realises Rachel and Zeke are missing and goes off to fetch them. She finds them afterwards after a huge search and when she returns back to Ramsay St she files a divorce against Karl.
* Charlotte (Amy Gordon) moves into the House of Trouser, once again, it is a rumour.
* Toadie (Ryan Moloney) and Steph (Carla Bonner) leave Ramsay St with Charlie. Steph puts her house up for sale and the house is bought. But who by?
* Zeke and Bree sleep together. Yes, and that is totally gross.
* Pepper starts a relationship with a much older man, Paul. But will Elle's schemes to break-up the two get in the way? Also, Oliver is starting to fall in love with Pepper ... So what will happen?
* Summer (Marissa Siketa) is once again back for a short stint. There are also rumours that Max will be returning for a short stint as well. These stints will occur before the so said departures of Steph Hoyland and Toadie Rebecci.
* A ruthless scheming woman of an Asian background embarks life on Ramsay St. Apparently there will be quite a few storylines for this character, many dramatic ones, but there are also rumours that she is related to someone who is, or used to be living in Ramsay St. But who?
* There are also rumours that two "dead" characters, Diona Bliss and Serena Bishop (Lara Sacher) will be returning to Ramsay St. These characters will both be playing guest stints, shortly before the characters they link to, Toadie and Sky, depart. There is also a rumour that Dee is married with kids and just returned to the street to let Toadie know she's alive and that Serena continues her life with Harold and becomes a permanent cast-member.
